Siach Sarfei Kodesh Sunday: Revealing the Date of Mashiach's Coming Delays the Geulah

It was once explained to the Rebbe that the tzaddik Levi Yitzchak of Berditchev said that the geulah would occur in the year 5570 (תק''ע), for it is hinted in the verse, "Sound (תקע) the great shofar for our freedom." (Weekly Shmoneh Esrei).  The Rebbe responded, "5648 (תרח''ם) is also a year."  If one says that 5570 is the year of the redemption, for it is hinted to in the verse, "Sound (תקע)the great shofar," then one is also able to say that the redemption will be in the year 5648, because that year too is hinted as the time of the redemption in the verse, "You will arise and have compassion (תרחם) on Zion." (Tehillim 102:14)

And see what the Rebbe says regarding this topic in חיי מוהר''ן תקכז: "Whenever the time of Mashiach's coming is revealed, then he certainly will not come, for "The Son of David will only come when he is not expected." (Sanhedrin 97b)

Losing Jewish Children

We ought to be crying and screaming day and night.  We should be banging our heads against the wall.  We should cover ourselves with sackcloth and mourn over the disaster we are hearing about... Schools to teach Jewish children how to speak, act, and dress like non-Jews... Woe to us! We have been robbed! Woe to us!... We have seen how those who have grown up with such values turn into atheists... They desecrate Shabbos... They commit evil deeds...  Worse, they make a mockery of our entire Torah... We find ourselves in the very midst of the horrendous troubles foreseen by our prophets prior to the coming of Mashiach...

Mashiach is Born Everyday

It is said about Mashiach, "Today I have given birth to you." (Tehillim 2:7) For, Mashiach will completely merit this concept, which relates to longevity. Every moment he will begin to live anew, as if he were born today, which is an aspect of, "Today, I have given birth to you." Mashiach will achieve the concept of being above physical time, as Rabbeinu z"l explains on the above mentioned passuk. Look inside Likutei Moharan I Torah 61.

Every Jew Has a Share in Mashiach, Korbanos, and the Beis HaMikdash

All the good points that can be found in every single Jew - these points are an aspect of the sparks of Mashiach.  This is such because the whole notion of goodness is Mashiach.  Furthermore, he is a notion of sustaining and building the world, the Bais Hamikdash, the korbanos, and the ketores (incense). 

It is said by Chazal that the Jew is like a microcosm.  Everything that exists in the world can be reflected back to every individual, and as such, every part of creation (ie. the sefiros) can be traced back to man.  If every single Jew has all of the items that Reb Nosson listed within him, then he must realize that his potential is so great and powerful that even he can uplift the shechinah and bring the final geula through his own merit.  Every Jew has this power!

If only we could realize how much power we really have we could accomplish so so much.  It just takes a little emunah.
